Royal White Ewes

Productive. Hardy. Profitable.

Hodges Family Royal White ewes are managed on an accelerated lambing program, lambing every 8 months with 60-day breeding seasons. Ewes not meeting these standards are culled, ensuring high reproductive efficiency crucial for profitability. Our ewes are selected to be low-maintenance – lambing unassisted, exhibiting excellent maternal traits, and raising more twins. They are productive females that are built to last. As true hair sheep, they require no shearing and are capable of out-of-season breeding.

Key Benefits:

  • Raise more sets of twins

  • Ability to breed out of season and maintain an accelerated lambing schedule

  • A true hair sheep – does not need to be sheard

  • Thrive in both high and low rainfall areas due to parasite tolerance and overall durability
